In addition to blowing up the Prydwen and Institute on your own, this quest gives you a way to blow up Railroad HQ, and also The Castle, in which case you can actually become enemies with The Minutemen, and you can choose whether to kill Preston Garvey.

This is a "bad guy" alternate ending to counter the "good guy" alternate ending in Project Valkyrie where all the major factions are at peace with each other. This "Burn Them All" quest arc starts after you complete the quest "Symphony of Destruction" with Stella.
