Depth of Field, Yuck! And why I shut it off: A Tech Demo
So after countless years of video card manufactures trying to deliver picture perfect image quality in video games along come video game developers who purposely try to make games blurry. " Depth Of Field" a video setting I feel should be disabled by default. My visions blurry enough even with glasses I wear. So they think that I think that I must be some kind of camera tagging along watching the action when I am playing a video game and want to give me that authentic camera experience. Only thing is my eyes don't work that way , they don't just stay focused at the main image, they shift focus around to different areas of the screen and find it being blurred distasteful. After all you never know what kind of danger might be lurking In amongst all that blur.
