Descent Shareware 1.0 Playthrough (Revisted)
5Five years ago, I uploaded a play through video of the first shareware release of Descent, but it wasn't properly finished (died as soon as the boss died and ended the level)
To celebrate soon to be 26 years of the shareware release (at the time of this writing) I will be revisiting this shareware and this time, properly finish it.
Q&A
1. Why is this being revisited?
A : The primary reason behind this stems from the last-time I did a playthrough of this. In the last playthrough, I died after defeating the shareware boss which ruins the thing even when playing in the Trainee difficulty. Another reason is to celebrate the shareware's 26th anniversary as the retail version turned 25 in 2020.
2. What sound device are you using?
A : Gravis Ultrasound for both sound and music.
3. You play so bad, you may use the automap to avoid getting lost.
A : I'm sorry but I ain't a pro at this, these maps can get confusing at times and the automap sometimes works for me. Well, atleast it's not a speedrun.
