Desk of Ladyada - RP2040 Feather prepares to take flight!
221Come on by to see what's on our desk tonite: Some Quectel cellular modules came in, these may be used in our next-gen FONA boards. We also are getting ready to launch the RP2040 Feather - let's take a look at our nice silkscreen PCBs, and also how we're going to test and program these boards on the production line. There's some things we learned while using the pico-sdk to write C code for the RP2040, which may save you a few hours! We also put together our final NeoTrinkey prototypes and ordered PCBs, we wanted to create a very low cost 'keychain' PCB and this looks pretty good.

These popular chips are one of our fav's - easy to use, but nice and fast. They're Cortex M0+'s with a variety of built-in FLASH and RAM variants. Also, many packages and pin counts are available for many use cases. There's good C, Arduino, CircuitPython support and also you can use Rust, Zephyr, FreeRTOS and many other languages and frameworks. Pretty cool stuff! We have dozens of boards using this chip, so we'll cover how to search for just the right version and how to use the Datasheet to assist!
