Campus Martius was introduced with The Taken King DLC as a free multiplayer map during the Sparrow Racing League 2015 event. It is available on all platforms. However do to the Playstation 3 and XBOX 360 consoles never receiving the private matches update, Campus Martius is no longer available to play on Last Generation Consoles.

The massive turbine assemblies that serve as Campus Martius's most distinctive obstacle are a relic from a lost Golden Age facility. The SRL uses them to power needed equipment for the races, but there are signs that some energy is being diverted to an unknown location.
