Destiny Rising gets the action right. The shooting, abilities, and activities feel solid, and the game runs well across devices. There’s enough variety to keep sessions fresh. But the weight of menus, currencies, and constant monetization undermines that progress. The story is bland, the systems are overcomplicated, and the gacha model hangs over everything. If you only want a taste of Destiny on the go, Destiny Rising can scratch that itch. But if you hope for a fair, focused experience, it falls short.
