De los creadores de la reputada saga Halo, Bungie nos presenta Destiny, su nueva IP, un shooter futurista con toques de rpg.
En este mundo una gran esfera llamada el viajero a venido al sistema solar para ayudarnos en tecnologia y de esta manera ayudarle a acabar con la oscuridad que le persigue, pero en ese combate la humanidad casi queda extinguida y el viajero queda dañado.
Por ello el viajero crea espectros que estos reviven a unos guerreros llamados Guardianes, infundido por la luz del viajero para ayudarle a combatir la oscuridad.
