In today's live stream, we will be destroying literally everything in Red Faction: Guerrilla! I have Red Faction: Guerrilla for PC, and now that I have a good PC, I should be able to play it and stream it with no issues! I have played this game on my on before and I have played it previously on my channel. Before, the game would lag horribly, so it was not feasible for me to continue playing it, which is why I am now! I am excited to experience the glorious destruction of Red Faction: Guerrilla in 1080p 60fps with you guys and as I said, we will be destroying literally everything!

For this Red Faction: Guerrilla live stream, I will start form the beginning of the game, going through the story and causing destruction. After all, the whole point of this game is the glorious destruction it brings! I don't know how far we may get in this one stream, but I would like to complete everything at Parker, including Parker's liberation mission. We have a lot of missions to complete before we can do that though, and a lot of things need to be destroyed in order to lower EDF control and raise the Red Faction's morale. I'll do my best and this will be great!

Set 50 years after the climactic events of the original Red Faction, Red Faction: Guerrilla allows players to take the role of an insurgent fighter with the newly re-established Red Faction movement as they battle for liberation from the oppressive Earth Defense Force. Red Faction: Guerrilla re-defines the limits of destruction-based game-play with a huge open-world, fast-paced guerrilla-style combat, and true physics-based destruction.

Red Faction: Guerrilla takes place in 2125. The Earth Defense Force (EDF), the allies in the original "Red Faction", has become the main antagonist of Guerrilla. Although initially supportive of the Martian miners, Earth's natural resources have run scarce, and as a result, its global economy has collapsed from rampant speculation of commodities and lack of production. Under pressure by Earth's corporations and leaders to acquire the resources of Mars at any cost and at a pace to meet Earth's high demand, the EDF has forced Martian society into a permanent state of forced labor. The newly-reformed "Red Faction" arises to rebel against the EDF, drive them off the planet, and begin fairer negotiations with Earth.

Alec Mason, the player character and a mining engineer, arrives on Mars to reunite with brother Daniel and begin a new life, only to learn to his surprise that Daniel is now a member of Red Faction. While on work detail, Daniel testifies about the EDF's cruelty to the Martian people and asks Alec to join their cause; he is soon after gunned down by air support from an EDF assault team. Alec is rescued by Red Faction guerrillas and becomes a reluctant freedom fighter for the group alongside inventor "Sam" Samanya, rambling psychotic Jenkins (who believes that Mars should be "purified"), and commander Hugo Davies. Between Davies' command and Alec's skill and bravery, the EDF are quickly driven out of an entire sector, "Parker", for the first time.
