Detroit Hudson's Site 2019 Update and Joe Louis Arena Demo Progress - 11-4-19
Just a quick video I put together to showcase Detroit's newest tallest building construction progression. I was downtown for Youmacon 2019 and was able to get a few photos and quick video of the site during the weekend. Right now from 2018 we can easily see that nearly all parking garage rubble is removed, rebar cages for the foundation pilings are being assembled, and most caissons are bored. It will probably be early winter before we see the lower portion of the community block rise to street level. Since the overall height and programming changes are as of yet, unconfirmed, I am still going with the original detailed factual releases.
