Deus Ex 1 Tutorial: Saving Miguel on No-Harm, No-Consumables
0This video demonstrates how to save Miguel in a No-Harm, No-Consumables, Mere-Mortal run through of Deus Ex. By exploiting metal crates, Miguel can be kept safe from enemies even whilst in follow mode, thus allowing him to spawn in connecting maps.\n\nRules:\n\nNO HARM = \nYou cannot cause injury to NPCs, nor use items, the environment or other NPCs to cause injury (unless scripted events like the fight outside Osgood and Sons). The exception being agent Navarre because you cannot proceed to the exit without killing her. You may only kill Navarre with her killphrase.\n\nNO CONSUMABLES=\nYou may pick up and drop items that deplete in quantity, but may not use them. Ie.) You cannot eat food, use medkits/cells, nor weapons with ammo. The exception being the Freighter level where you can use lams only to sink the ship.\n\nMERE-MORTAL=\nOn "Realistic" difficulty you cannot have any, or use Augmentations apart from your light. You must remain "Untrained" with all your skills.
