This is what you need for a gold chocobo.

Green's Needed: Sylikis Green's. Each Chocobo needs around 20-30 each.

Good Chocobo: Location: Gold Saucer Area.
Enemies its with: 2 Spencer's

Great Chocobo: Location: Mideel Area
Enemies its with: 1 or 2 Spirals.

Race both of thous Chocobo's till there Rank A

Valakorados: Steal Carob Nut x3

Breed will you get 1 Blue and 1 Green Chocobo of opposite genders using a Carob Nut for both the breeding.

Get both the Blue and Greeen Chocobo's to Rank A.

Breed both till you get a Black Chocobo using a Carob Nut.

Catch a Wonderful Chocobo of opposite Gender to the Black Chocobo: Location: Icicle Area
Enemies its with: 1 or 2 Jumping

Go to Goblin Island and get 1 Zieo Nut

Get Both the Black and Wonderful Chocobo to Rank A

Breed the Black to the Wonderful with the Zeio Nut.

Results into a Gold Chocobo.
