Mixups...More and More Mixups...
Girls...Skullgirls are all about landing mixups from what I've seen. However this is the Difference from Marvel vs Capcom 2 and this game.
In the marvel series we could reconize various attacks. There was 5 marvel games before this one ( The 1st game X-men Children of the Atom...A God Awful Game btw was released in 1994)
So the marvel players had 6 years to see and study various attacks...
However Believe it or not...As awful as Sentinel is in mvc2...
He was worse in children of the atom...He broke the game.

Skullgirls is a relatively new game...Players don't study attacks or how an attack looks in order understand how to respond to them like they used to...
They only study frame data (and yes same Porn star I will talk about Frame Data soon =p ).

People have other things to do...in fact the skullgirls tournament scene appears very casual compared to the streetfighter or marvel scene.
So he wins by landing lots of mixups and hope that no one takes skullgirls seriously....
