Another method to play Exdeath in defensive style to make sure the enemy suffer by Curse debuff and deal off turn dmg as much as possible.
In this video: Almagest deal 44k for both target + 12k per turn*8 = 140k dmg.... Yeah he deals no dmg

But it's pretty high risk if you don't have a good tank or support to keep your team on safety well I have my Leon so why not?.
