This a cold build emphasizes on damage debuff on mobs from the passives Elemental Exposure, Cold Blooded and Conflagration. These together provides 30% extra damage taken and 6% extra chance to be critically hit to the debuffed mobs. The best of it is that the debuff not only benefit you but also your teammates as well. Playing it properly can significantly boost the overall killing speed of the team!

The trick to utilize Elemental Exposure is that you need to consistently have four types of elemental damage hitting the mobs. Cold damage is the core for this build and comes from Absolute Zero and Frozen Orb. Conflagrate provides fire damage. Fortunately, Familiar damage also counts. Cannoneer is used as its AoE ensures more mobs are hit. Lastly, a lightning damage weapon is needed.
[patch 2.1 update] Bug Fixes: Fixed an issue that prevented Hydra from applying Elemental Exposure (Hydra's damage previously did not apply Elemental Exposure.)

Gear: Again, remember to pick a weapon with lightning damage! (If you want to use weapon of other damage type, try to adjust the skills such that you can still have the four types of elemental damage.) After that, get as many +cold damage gear as you can, since Frozen Orb is your main damage source. +Cold damage gear include bracers, amulet, Stone of Jordan ring, Frostburn gloves, Andariel's Visage helm and Winter Flurry source.

Gameplay: Cast Absolute Zero at location that can affect the most mobs, Conflagration the pulled mobs, then spam Frozen Orb. Recast Conflagration every few seconds. Note that mobs affected by Elemental Exposure have a visual effect above their heads, which becomes brighter the more stacks of Elemental Exposure they have.
