1The neat thing about corpse explosion is it both generates essence and doesn't consume it, allowing your essence pool to be a 2nd HP bar. While this build isn't "immortal" you are wildly tankier with Selig on.
Looking at my gear, there is clearly room to optimize. Also I could put Torment on a ring and proc it with Bone Storm to increase my essence regeneration to "immortal" levels, but I don't think Selig is necessary at all if you're running Shielding Storm, because you're already near-unkillable.
