Diablo I HD Mod Belcebub - 11 Levels 14, 15, & River of Flame - Uncommented 720p
9(Español más abajo) For the 20th birthday of Diablo I decided to record a "Blindfolded" and uncommented Sorceror playthrough of the "Diablo I HD Mod "Belzebub"". Game was running at 720p, because at 1080p everything would look very small and difficult to click. Either way, by using 1080p on Youtube you'll get better video quality due to increased bitrate.
This is a mod for Diablo I that allows you to play Diablo I in modern OS, HD resolutions, and via OpenGL. It also restores a bunch of discarded content from the original release of the game, along with new and better UI, adds more equipment like amulets and belts, rare items, new spells, new character classes, buff system... Currently it supports single player only, but multi is on alpha along with more enhacements.
At the beginning I was a bit hesitant because I would like to replay vanilla D1 in full HD glory, but there is no such thing, so I got stuck with this mod... Which I ended liking, it has been almost 20 years since I played Diablo in Single Player (I always created my chars in MP), and if you add the restored content it's almost like re-experiencing the whole thing.
On the gameplay side, I started doing my usual stuff when I level a Sorceror, but I didn't remember that you just can't go to level 5 9 or 13 whenever you reach a minimum level threshold like in MP, I had to do the whole game... My stat points also sucked, because I was expecting a Mana Shield spell that didn't drop... which turned out to be a FREE skill for Sorcerors at level 16, by the time I realized that I already was like level 25 and had wasted like 70 skill points on VIT... So I deleted the char and began again. As some gameplay videos were already published from the bad playthrough, I decided to let them roll until the caves hub (level 9 of the dungeon). At that very spot the playthrough continues with the newer character.

Por el 20 aniversario de Diablo decidí jugar un playthrough del hechicero "blindfolded" y sin comentar del Mod "Diablo I HD "Belzebub"". El juego lo ejecuté a 720p porque a 1080p todo se veia muy pequeño y hasta eran difíciles de clicar las cosas. A pesar de ello, si poneis el Youtube a 1080p disfrutareis de mayor calidad de vídeo debido al aumento de la tasa de bits.
Es un mod para Diablo I que permite jugarlo en sistemas modernos, con resolución HD, y por OpenGL. También añade un puñado de contenido que fue descartado en el juego original, junto con una mejor UI, más equipo como amuletos y cinturones, objetos raros, nuevos hechizos, clases de personaje, sistema de buffs... Actualmente sólo soporta single player, pero el multijugador está en alpha junto con más mejoras.
Al principio tenía mis dudas porque quería jugar un Diablo I "vanilla" sin modificaciones al gameplay, pero con los gráficos chachis y la UI mejorada, pero no existe tal cosa, así que estaba atascado con este mod... que al final me terminó gustando, y como han sido casi 20 años desde que jugué a D1 en un solo jugador (Siempre creaba mis personajes en Multi), y como con el contenido restaurado ya no sabía en ocasiones qué era viejo y qué era nuevo, asíq ue fue como re-experimentar el juego.
Sobre el gameplay, empecé haciendo mis cosas que hacía siempre que subía el hechicero, pero no recordaba que no podía bajar a los niveles 5 9 o 13 sin más cuando me apeteciese al alcanzar ciertos umbrales de nivel como en el multi, tenía que hacer el juego completo... Mis puntos de estadísticas también apestaban, estaba esperando a que cayese algún libro con el hechizo de Mana Shield, que en este mod resultó ser una habilidad GRATUITA para los hechiceros a nivel 16. Cuando me di cuenta ya era nivel 25 y había desperdiciado como 70 puntos de habilidad en vitalidad... Así que decidí borrar el personaje y volver a empezar. Como ya había un puñado de vídeos de la playthrough mala publicados en el canal, decidí dejarlos estar y a partir del nivel 9 de la mazmorra continuarla con vídeos grabados del personaje nuevo.
