One of my favourite games with one of the longest intros ever made :) This was a challenge, but I think it ended up pretty well.
Diablo II: Resurrected is an action role-playing video game co-developed by Blizzard Entertainment and Vicarious Visions and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It is a remaster of Diablo II (2000) and its expansion Lord of Destruction (2001). The game was released for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S on September 23, 2021.
Technical:
I was very disappointed with the quality of the original video as it's highly compressed and the framerate is definitely not 30fps. The framerate feels like 20 and there are also stutters, therefore frame interpolation was not an option. In comparisson, the vanilla D2 intro is 25fps and nicely smooth. Blizzard did a great job with completely redoing intro for the Resurrected version, but then totally killed it with bad framerate and high compression. And the funny thing is the audio is in FLAC :D Therefore I decided at least get rid of the compression.
