Picking up the Lionhearted season achievement with a hardcore (permadeath) wizard in season 23 of Diablo III. This a dubious variant of the Vyr-Chantodo Archon WoD build which I modified for survival, limited gear and minimal Paragon and patience. Build link below. Handled inexpertly but entertaining to play.

This is a basic Vyr-Chantodo Archon WoD with minimal rerolls beyond CDR and a heavy hardcore insurance policy. Not suitable for real pushing. GR is low enough to cube RoRG over CoE and swap in Aquila Cuirass for 50% DR at high resource since Unity x2 have yet to drop. Black Hole replaced with Electrocute for resource regain (for AC DR) over DPS and as a resource-conserving means of building Chantodo stacks. Heavily stacks shields through Galvanizing Ward, Ashnagarr's Blood Bracer and Molten Wildebeast's Gizzard. Unstable Anomaly and Fate's Lapse provide two saving throws. Teleport (with 25% DR through Safe Passage) over Slow Time, with the cubed In-geom providing 10 seconds of chain teleports after elite packs' demise.
