Did SEGA GIVE UP On Role-Playing Games?
#SEGA #ATLUS #RPGs
It’s very clear that nowadays, SEGA is relying heavily in ATLUS to please their RPG fans. Of course SEGA still has some very solid RPGs like the new Like a Dragon turn-based RPGs, but SEGA used to have a ton of RPG franchises and IPs, all dormant. What happened to SEGA rpgs? Sakura Wars, Shining Force, Phantasy Star, Skies of Arcadia, Valkyria Chronicles: what happened? Where are these beloved SEGA RPG franchises. I think some of them might come back in the future with the new SEGA initiative to revive older IPs, but it’s definitely sad to see.
Which RPG from SEGA would you like to see come back the most and in what form? Id love for Skies of Arcadia to see any type of re-release.
