Did Sony Play It TOO SAFE With Ghost of Yotei?
558It was just revealed that Ghost of Yōtei has nearly the same budget as Ghost of Tsushima — about $60 million. That’s way lower than most AAA sequels like Spider-Man 2, Horizon Forbidden West, and The Last of Us 2.
On one hand, a tighter budget means focus on quality over quantity and less risk of bloated maps or repetitive filler. On the other, it might mean Sony and Sucker Punch are playing it too safe with one of the most anticipated PS5 exclusives.
Smart discipline… or a warning sign that Ghost of Yōtei might just be more of the same?
