Danny wears a shirt with 42 on it while watching “Summer Of 42” on The TV, and if you multiply the numbers from Hotel Room 237, it equals, you guessed it, 42. But why? Most speculate it’s because of the Holocaust. The Germans decided on the “Final Solution” to European Jewry in 1942, which explains the significance.
