The movie grossed over $1.48 billion worldwide. The fan favorite superhero flick saw the long-awaited return of preceding Spiderman actors, Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield, along with the respective antagonists in the franchise, William DeFoe and Alfred Molina.
