Direct Memory Access (DMA) allows hardware devices to transfer data to/from memory without the involvement of CPU. DMA improves system performance by freeing up the CPU and accelerating data transfer. !!!!! Just a reminder: Always install your motherboard chip driver manufacturer provided (if any) first. e.g. VIA 4 in 1 etc. !!!!!
