Holy crap. A Diddy Kong Pilot proto got leaked too? Christmas must have came early.

This game was the precursor to Banjo Pilot, a game that is basically Diddy Kong Pilot with the kongs dressed up as Banjo characters.

The proto looks very complete indeed. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is the options menu, but nothing in that menu is interesting anyway.

Besides the different menu, icons, characters, and cup names, this proto is nearly IDENTICAL to Banjo Pilot in every way. The courses haven't even been altered for Banjo Pilot except for the names!

The music is exactly the same as Banjo Pilot as well. The programmers didn't even have time to make different music! I always wondered why the music from Spiral Mountain sounded like it was from Donkey Kong...

There is a bug in this proto that was fixed in Banjo Pilot. Using a speedup when going into the final lap will cause the dashing sound effect to play for the remainder of the course. In the video, this happens in the lava course.

In conclusion, this COULD HAVE been a good game if they kept the Kongs in, but did they really have to edit some things to fool the crowd into thinking it would be a Banjo game? They didn't even edit EVERYTHING to look like Banjo, like them keeping Espresso the Ostrich in the second course. WAT.
