Diddy Kong Racing is a kart-racing adventure game released on the Nintendo 64 in 1997 by Rare. Unlike other racers of its time, it features a full story mode with boss battles, multiple vehicle types (car, hovercraft, and plane), and an expansive overworld to explore. Players race through tropical islands, snowy mountains, pirate coves, and even space as they try to stop the evil Wizpig and become the ultimate racing champion!
