Difference: Glitching Vs Hacking Is It Cheating YES! Its Not "Hacking" Though - Shiny Hunting Update
20Just a video about my future plans to make tutorials about how I do things and my reasonings behind making tutorial videos.
I HAVE NOTHING to hide and only guilty people have something to hide.
I do use exploits and glitches when I setup for Shiny Hunts or even after I get the Shiny, I have every God Given right to do what I want with my Shinies I earn. I use a variety of glitches, like the Cloning Glitch in X and Y (with update data off), the Cloning Glitches in Gold and Silver, and Emerald (Also for Gold and Silver 3DS Virtual Console games cannot be hacked... Emulators can but you cannot hack off of an authentic virtual copy of Gold and Silver on 3DS Virtual Console), I used some Shiny Dittos recently from Gen 1, that have unique IVs, and have been Trading them on GTS when I Transfer them to Ultra Sun to finish the rest of my Alola PokeDex for Shiny Charm.
I DO NOT own Action Replay, Game Shark, Powersaves, or any other type of external device that is not indorsed by Nintendo.
There are SO MANY Shiny Hunters that Shiny Hunt Pokemon by use of glitching and exploiting the game but when I wanna clone my Pokemon by means of a glitch, just to use it for video editing purposes but also keep it in my original game where it holds more value, I come into other people's Streams saying "I did this, or I did that" just to be told I cannot discuss "exploits in a Live Chat" some of the Live Streamer's are people I get along with very well, but before they even take the time to analyze my Shiny Hunts or take the time to know what I do on a personal level, I am just made to feel like "a filthy scummy hacker" I get everything fair and square and I have every God Given right to do whatever I want with it.
There are so many purists these days when it comes to Shiny Hunting, but I have been doing Shiny Hunting since 2010 toward the end of Gen 4, getting a Shiny Soul Dew Latios (which I know longer have) and getting Shiny Giratina and Shiny Cyndaquil all by Soft Resets, then moving onto Masuda Methods in Pokemon White in 2011, I have A LOT of the photos of my Shinies on my third oldest cell phone, I never had a smart phone with a video camera until I was an adult and Shiny Hunting became more of a mainstream thing with the release of X and Y.
I really wish I can just do my own thing and if it doesn't directly effect any of you a negative way, I should just be able to do my thing, I have nothing to hide like again I said before, however, I feel if I do not make tutorial guides at some point, this is all going to catch up to me. Even if people don't like how I go about doing things in my tutorials I am still gonna do it.
No one in particular I am talking about this is just a common problem in the Shiny Hunting Community, not referring to anyone in general. I ADORE everyone, please let me just do my own thing if it doesn't directly effect you :/
