Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Playthrough - Ep. 4 - THE FAMILY GROWS & THE ACTION BEGINS!
46This video is the fourth episode in our let's play of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. This playthrough will be recorded on the Playstation 4 via the Elgato HD60.
Cyber Sleuth is set in the digital world of virtual reality but also in the real world as well. A futuristic online cyberspace called Eden exists which humans can physically enter. However, problems begin to arise as people entering Eden become trapped there; their real bodies left paralyzed. With hackers running loose left and right, our characters (Aiba, Arata, Nokia & some others) naturally find themselves in the thick of it. After being sabotaged by a mysterious figure, our main protagonist is granted hacker skills and the ability to utilise the 'all powerful' digimon tools. Let's see where this madness takes us!
We start this episode off a little differently, hence the quick voice over. After 3 episodes of Dialogue, we finally get into the meat and potatoes of the game- the turn based, challenging rpg action that I was expecting. This ep is actually a merger of episodes 4 & 5 which were squashed together to bring you guys straight to the action. In the original Ep, we spent literally 30 minutes doing nothing before finally getting to the good stuff. What you guys see now is the outcome of that.
As said in the summary, after ep 3 we left Kyoko's office in order to investigate the downtown area of Shinjuku, where we meet Arata and some others. Upon returning to Kyoko's office, Yuuko turns up and announces that she needs the detective agency's help to tract down her missing father. From here, Kyoko sends to Eden in order to track down a hacker group who she believes is involved with the disappearing dad. We are finally led to the Zaxon forum where we receive the Zaxon Mask, a tool for entering the Zaxon infested level 2 of Kowloon. This is where we start, and this is where things get super good!
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth was actually released first on the PS Vita in Japan but was later released to the West in February 2016. I am super stoked to see this game fully for myself and to play through it with you guys! Our aim is to beat the game in time for the release of the sequel, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory, which is set to release at the of January 2018.
Thank you guys for all your support and feedback on my other Digimon content. You guys are super awesome and I really appreciated it! I know some of you guys have been asking about a playthrough of Digimon World: Next Order and I imagine that we will get around to that at some stage. For the time being though, I am happy to play through this bad boy and see if we can't kick it's ass.
It's been a while since I did any proper recording so be sure to give me as much feedback as you like, whether it be mic volume, game volume, webcam position etc. This is the first time using my new Elgato, so I will most definitely have some tweaking to do. Will try my hardest to get the best quality possible for you guys.

I will point out that this is a pretty blind playthrough, so these videos will not be as informative as some of my other digimon videos thus far.
