A day skips happens when you sleep at the hour you are supposed to wake up. It results in skipping one entire day into the future. This specific setup allows you to do this glitch in a loop which also renders you immortal and doesn't waste any time with poops as those happen during your sleep. This trick can be useful for getting the Rain Plant early or getting the 10 years medal faster. All you have to do is sacrifice one single Digimon as it will likely die once you finish your loop. Saving and sleeping is advised as you can just reload your game if you accidentally screw up the loop and continue where you left off. Waking up from sleep or loading a save makes you immortal and unable to digivolve for an hour, so you cannot die or digivolve to the next level or even Sukamon.
