The Unreal Engine 5 City sample was released in tandem with the latest Matrix movie "The Matrix Resurrections" which was a horrendous creative flop, a complete waste of time and money and talent, but it pays the bills, so everybody stay minutely quiet and nobody complaining. The only good thing that came from all this, was the "City Sample" demo, first only available on consoles, xbox and playstation, but later on also playable on pc. Why the delay? I don't know. It probably has to do with those douchebags over at Microsoft who seize every opportunity to promote their pathetic game-pass (still not understanding that the harder they try the more customers they will lose) but anyways enough ranting (hehe). The silly things we have to go through nowadays. But all that is forgotten, once you start playing the demo. It's pretty amazing, it's pretty huge, and it weighs pretty heavy on my pc (got a intel i7/3060Ti), and at times you can really see how my computer has difficulties swallowing it all. And it's also kinda weird that it doesn't have an official download site. One might expect to be able to download it from Steam, because it's such a playable thing, but no, you have to really search for it on the internet. Of course the unreal files can be downloaded for the unreal engine, on it's official site, but this playable demo can only be found on some obscure file sharing site. Weird weird weird. Seek and thou shall find (look I'm quoting the bible, that means I'm a good person) (LOL)
