Imagine a safari parkβ€”but instead of elephants and zebras, you’re facing prehistoric giants charging straight at you. Your job is simple: survive the dino stampede and rack up points before you become lunch.

The gameplay channels the golden age of light-gun arcades. You’ll use your mouse to aim and fire, and for an even more authentic feel, I played through the game using my RS3 Reaper lightguns. It nails that nostalgic vibe of blasting away at enemies rushing from all angles while juggling reloads and accuracy.

What sets Dino Island Safari apart is its campy charmβ€”complete with hilariously clunky voice acting that feels ripped straight out of a 90s arcade cabinet. The mix of frantic dinosaur encounters and over-the-top commentary gives it a tongue-in-cheek edge that makes the short playthrough all the more fun.
