Disable / stop / turn off automatic updates in Windows 10 (without affecting other services)
[Enable 'Never check for updates (not recommended)' / manual update mode in Windows 10 ;) ]

Go to Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) → Administrative Templates (under Computer Configuration) → Windows Components → Windows Update → Configure Automatic Updates → Disable!
