0I was going to make a video on how you can become insanely overpowered in Daggerfall but I ended up going in a totally different direction as I become more and more powerful.

00:45 - 1. Character Creation
Being overpowered starts as soon as you create a new character.
02:23 - 2. Tutorial, my arse!
Daggerfall has no mercy on new players. You're going to die and die again because you're a weakling.
03:39 - 3. The outside world
The outside world isn't as harsh luckily. You can even get money by doing non-combat work. But if you want to get good at combat you have to spend money so we take a student loan.
05:23 - 4. Joining the mages guild
We have to do some menial work before they'll let us join but the spellmaker is critical to becoming more powerful.
06:13 - 5. The Skelleton Key
We get a spanner in the works. This artifact is very important but it's only going to be there for a few weeks. We're only level 2 but we have to take on an ancient lich.
07:09 - 6. Hard Training
We beat the lich but it was hard going. We clearly need to work on our skills and level up. So we lock ourselves in a tavern room with a sexy lady and get to work!
08:15 - 7. Buffing up
We're now pretty powerful. Our spells allow us to defeat any enemies but we can be even more powerful through magical items.
08:51 - 8. Even more magicka
Our first magical items worked as expected so we double down and make all the rings, bracelets, and other magical items we can wear.
09:38 - 9. The witch mother
One of the key characters is the mother of the dead king. She lives in a secluded castle with liches and other undead. But we have the skelleton key!
10:07 - 10. Even better magical items
You can also power magical items with souls. So we harvest the souls of a bunch of daedra lords and make the best possible artifacts.
11:05 - 11. The restful dead
We speak to the dead king and it turns out he just wants revenge. So we suck the life out of his killer and he finally leaves us alone.
12:13 - 12. A new playstyle
I'm extremely powerful and there's no enemy that can kill me. But I realize the emptiness of just slaughtering everything in my path. That was entirely unplanned and unexpected but I feel even more powerful now.
13:44 - 13. The fate of the world
There's spoilers for the end game dungeon.
We have to decide who'll control the most powerful weapon in the world. That decides who comes out on top in the struggle between the various factions. Then a trip to the ethereal plane to retrieve the heart and the world will be irrevocably changed by our actions.
This last dungeon is a tour of power as we flit past enemies without a care in the world.
