The reason I am making this video is because a number of people, both on YouTube and my website, have left feedback about what I said about the Armor-Piercing attachment in Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Armor-Piercing is essentially FMJ from previous installments of Call of Duty. First take a look at the information Call of Duty: Ghosts gives about the attachment:
"High penetration rounds, effective against enemy-controlled vehicles and infantry armor."
The weapon stats screen shows that Armor-Piercing increases the damage of a weapon. The comments all have stated that Armor-Piercing, and previously FMJ, do not increase damage.
By showing an increase in damage what Call of Duty: Ghosts means is that damage is increased under certain circumstances, like when you shoot through cover or at enemy controlled aircraft or infantry armor.
The weapon guides I produce are designed to be compact so sometimes, like Call of Duty: Ghosts, I use abbreviated descriptions. I have learnt from this and will implement changes to those guides in the future that will make what I mean clearer.
