Disgaea 4 A Promise Unforgotten - RPCS3 Emulator Gameplay
Runs passably well for an emulated game, but has problems with framerate during gameplay. It's still very playable. It gets worse when the game is doing the calculations for damage and whatnot, but it's fairly slow whenever you're in control. Feels like it's running about half speed, even with the framerate hovering around 30FPS. Changing the Antialiasing from 8x to auto didn't make much of a difference, neither did changing my framerate settings from 60 to 'unlimited'.
It isn't the recording either, it didn't make much of an impact to framerate.
There is an official speedhack/patch available here: https://gist.github.com/Nekotekina/14c6cc34b5c127950f982ffab87a43ec
It added ~10 to ~15 FPS in my case, bumping up to the low to mid 40's in terms of framerate.
So, it's playable, not excellent. This video shows the game running from the main menu through the end of the first tutorial map.
Running on an i7 6800k, GTX 1080 GPU, and 32GB of Ram
I extracted my private copy of this game from my own personal game disc. I'm also hoping they eventually release the rest of the Disgaea catalogue on PC, as currently only Disgaea 1 and 2 are available, with no word on the remainder.
