79After playing through Doom 64 again, I caught a song that I had missed before...
As mentioned in a previous video, Doom 64's soundtrack was very different from that of the PC Doom games. Instead of bombastic and energetic rock songs we had extremely moody and atmospheric dirges, focusing a lot more on the "you are dealing with otherworldly beings that are impossibly evil" fear factor aspect of Doom. The level Breakdown has probably the most disturbing song in the game, with sounds that can only be described as either tortured souls moaning and jabbering or someone's mind falling apart... Though considering the infernal locale it is probably both.
