So I've been doing a little tweaking of that AI, and it is able to get some significantly higher scores. Where the previous video beat my high score by about 10%, there have been multiple iterations of the code since. Now this highest scoring game is a hundred times my own best. I'll try to make a nice blog post at some point (note to self: make blog), detailing the score distribution for the AI.
