Why are we as a community even asking for a PvE darkzone in the first place? Is a PvE Darkzone viable? And is it what we really want? Are there any other alternatives to a PvE darkzone? And will adding in hunters solve all these problems?

I don't particular think so, for a number of reasons. There are way better alternatives to a PvE darkzone in terms of PvE content. But be sure to let me know what you think!
