Ok so this is my first prototype build of a UHF GMRS band base / repeater antenna..
This is a prototype build, I have plans to modify and make this antenna more "go bag" friendly.
The final product may be painted.

Parts used:

x2 - 1/2" PVC caps
1/2" PVC pipe
SO-239 bulkhead connector
Solid core copper wire of 14 AWG or bigger
GMRS radio
Watt / SWR meter
