DIY Sim Platform - Rise Above the Competition
Simultaneously being a sim racer and running a studio I often find myself needing to move equipment and even my sim chassis around. It can be a serious challenge when I need space to work.
So I decided to built myself a riser similar to what a drummer will use on a stage. But I also wanted to have it become mobile so I can move it around the room.
I find that a raised rig can also be easier to get in and out of. Also being off the ground it tends to stay cleaner and then on top of that let's face it, it looks super cool.
This is me chronicling my idea and the build process for you to follow or use for motivation for your own sim rig projects.
