1Leaving the hotel, Keith returns to the fountain courtyard. Suddenly, he encounters a new monster type: amphibian creature. These slow walking merman spew out green acid. If you found the Magnum 47 handgun, use this on them for a quick kill.
Returning to the courtyard fountain, Keith locates what seems to be a secret door hidden under the fountain. However, power to the door seems to be out, and power can only be restored from the control room located all the way back at the Screaming Moon club...Keith makes his way back to Screaming Moon.....
Reaching the control room, Keith restores power to the courtyard fountain door (in the most convoluted way mind you). He makes his way back to the fountain.
Unlocking the fountain door, leads Keith to an underground research laboratory. After taking out more vampires and purple slime monsters. Later, he gains access to one of the research labs computers.
Apparently, the Desert Moon casino/hotel was all just a front; a cover for what seems to be a top secret biological weapons research lab. Bio weapons were being developed here and these were going to be shipped out to military facilities. Somehow, the bio weapons breached lab security and made their way to the casino and attacked everyone at the club opening night (this explains the opening club attack intro at the games beginning and the Club Regan quarantine escape sequence after that..
With this shocking revelation, Keith decides to explore the laboratory further for more clues and survivors....
Also, Misato and the Man in Black haven't been seen in a while either.
(So, Bio Weapons huh..Who knew?)..
