DMG Optional Rule- Heroe Points| Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition Dungeon Masters Guide
DMG pg 264
Nerdarchy talks Hero points from the 5e DMG. Hero Points were first introduced into Dungeons and Dragons in 3rd edition through the Eberron campaign setting. They were originally called action points, you got less of them, and there were even feat trees built around them. D&D isn't first RPG to introduce this concept into it, but it becomes an interesting resource for players to use manipulate the action with in the adventure. No matter what you call them are you using hero points in your Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition game?
