Few games have been requsted on this channel as much as Dwarf Fortress, and I can understand why. It's a game that lives through storytelling and emergent adventure... I should be one of those people. Indeed, I've fired up the old ASCII version half a dozen times over the years and bounced off every single time because I've no desire to play a game from 1984. I played those games in 1984. Looks may not be everything, but they're not nothing.

So, here we go. I'm committing to a stream on the game. By the end of this stream I will have a considered opinion.
