After defeating The Lizard (dungeon 5), head to the vacant Fairy Shrine and play the Recorder to enter Dungeon 7 The Demon.

We are doing this because Dungeon 7 The Demon is easier than Dungeon 6 the Dragon, and we want our Heart Containers for dungeon 6 The Dragon.

I believe the devs did this on purpose, and if you think about it, all the mini-bosses are former Dungeon Bosses, so if you play dungeon 6 before dungeon 7, it throws that out of sync by having Aquamentus as a mini-boss, where-as if you play dungeon 7 The Demon before dungeon 6 The Dragon, you have Aquamentus as the dungeon Boss a second time apart from Level 1, then he becomes a mini-boss in level 6.

I believe this is the actual way to play the game the best, and believe the devs switched these two levels on purpose as a stumbling block in the adventure, and of course this worked it's way into online guides as well.
