Do Not Open — PS5 Update
0Following the launch of the PlayStation 5 survival horror title, ‘Do Not Open’ last week, developers NOX NOCtIS released a patch earlier this week adding the much-requested Y-axis inversion option.
Unfortunately, there were also balancing issues and bugs, especially around the appearance of the Witch and your ability to hide from her and escape.
The patch also fixed these bugs, re-balanced the game, and added additional features:
• Decreased enemy difficulty, making it harder for her to see you.
• Fixed the bug that didn't allow you to hide in some chests and the bug where the enemy could see you while you were inside some chests.
• Fixed the bug that sometimes stopped the enemy from appearing or made her invisible.
• Added additional explanation (drawing in the basement) to help players at the start of the game, understand that if they fail, the enemy will appear.
• Increased the main character's voice level.
• Fixed enemy pathfinding, esp around an instance when, when finding a key, the enemy may run in front of a wall.
• The patch also added a camera sensitivity option
