Doctors Get Married Over Zoom After Coronavirus Cancels Wedding | Localish
Two doctors in Durham, North Carolina, were surprised with a not-so-traditional “wedding ceremony” by their colleagues after the coronavirus pandemic forced them to cancel their original plans. OB/GYN resident Dr Shelun Tsai and her fiancé Dr Michael Sun, a resident in Duke Psychiatry’s program, exchanged vows over a Zoom video call while friends and family viewed from across the country.
The “wedding party” even designed a tissue paper bouquet and decorated a transportation cart with “just married” signs!
