DoDonPachi Resurrection and Mushihimesama [macOS Mojave 10.14] (Running Through Steam with Wine)
1The games work full speed most of the time and only lag when there are a lot on the screen, which is normal behaviour of cave games. The video is laggy because of the screen recording.

Intel i5-5257U 2C/4T
Intel Iris Graphics 6100
8GB 1867MHz RAM
Had to compile wine along with its dependencies with macports as multiplatform binaries are not provided anymore, it took me around 8 hours to compile it on this 2C/4T laptop lol.
These portfiles from Gcenx do most of the working so all you have to do is add the repository as local portfile repository, change a single config file as stated in the repository and run "sudo port install MacOSX10.13.sdk wine-staging winetricks".

Note: DXVK only works on 64-bit applications as Metal API is 64-bit only.
Used 32-bit wineprefix and installed "d3dcompiler_47 vcrun2010" with winetricks. Enabled wine Retina Mode by running "wine regedit", creating a new key "HKCU/Software/Wine/Mac Driver/" and creating a new string "RetinaMode" with "Y" value, set DPI to 227 from winecfg, and changed Windows version to Windows 10 to benefit from HiDPI.
Running SteamSetup.exe works out of the box and steam runs. Nothing except the Downloads tab and Small Mode displays so you gotta choose Small Mode from the View tab. Steam Cloud etc work fine.
As these games are 1280x720 and 13" retina macbooks have 2560x1600 screen which is 1280x800@2x, the games are mad crisp. No blurry scaling.

You can also create an Automator Application with Run Shell Script and run the script like
"PATH="${PATH}:/opt/local/bin" /Users/furkan/.steam/run.sh ⋗ /dev/null 2⋗&1 &"
(used "⋗" as angled brackets are not allowed on youtube apparently)
to avoid having a terminal screen open. You can even set its icon so it seems like a proper app.
Additionally games such as Crimzon Clover WORLD IGNITION, BLUE REVOLVER (I am aware it has a mac build), XIIZEAL, DELTAZEAL etc. all work just fine with the same config. Ikaruga also runs but its laggy as my laptop is not powerful enough.
