Does Actor Nicolas Cage Resemble Musician Elvis Presley & Christopher Lee? Ursula Andress Connection
Leaving Las Vegas (1995) actor Nicolas Cage may resemble rock musician Elvis Presley & horror actor Sir Christopher Lee. Actress Ursula Andress played the original Bond Girl in the first series-film based on author Ian Fleming's spy, James Bond in Dr. No (1962). Sean Connery was later in 1995's The Rock with Cage & Ed Harris. Andress was also in the Hammer film SHE in 1965 with Christopher Lee who was also the villain Francisco Scaramanga in the 1974 movie The Man With The Golden Gun.
Connections:
Nicolas Cage was associated visually with Elvis in several movies:
He performed the song Love Me in Wild At Heart (1990). In Honeymoon In Vegas (1992) Cage's character finds himself on a plane full of skydiving Elvis impersonators. He dons a classic Elvis style costume himself.
Cage was married to Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie for several months in 2002.
Cage was involved with many films which feature vampires, also a fixture of horror features Christopher Lee was famous for. These include Vampire's Kiss (1988) and more recently, Renfield in 2023.
Links between Lee & Elvis include The Trouble With Girls (1969) which included horror actors Vincent Price & John Carradine.
Christopher Lee recorded a solo cover music album "Revelation" in 2006. Present are renditions of songs also performed by Elvis including My Way & The Impossible Dream.
Alternatively, I thought Nicolas Cage may resemble Elvis Presley & comedian Andy Kaufman. Cage reportedly auditioned for the role of Kaufman for Milos Forman's 1999 biographical film Man On The Moon.
Connections:
Kaufman was known to Elvis in the 1970's and was one the early imporsonators of the singer.
