Does Cortana Have the LOGIC PLAGUE in Halo 3?
7In this episode of my Halo 3 campaign, the Master Chief descends into the Flood-infested wreckage of High Charity to rescue Cortana, who was left behind at the end of Halo 2. Surrounded by the twisted remains of the Covenant’s holy city, I fight through endless waves of the Flood to reach her before it’s too late.
Cortana still carries the Activation Index from the original Halo destroyed in Combat Evolved, a vital key that can now be used to fire the replacement Installation 04 and wipe out the Flood for good. The mission concludes in a desperate escape as High Charity’s reactors detonate, reducing the corrupted stronghold to rubble. Along the way, I also explore expanded lore from the books, shedding light on the Flood, Gravemind, and the broader Forerunner plan.
