DOES IT WORK?!?!? - Hyperkin Retron 1 (NES Top Loader) Review
1Our very first ever DOES IT WORK episode features the Hyperkin Retron 1 retro system. I got this back my OEM NES has a second port that doesn't work (I bought it second hand, took the gamble and lost...more or less) so I wanted one that full worked since I can't play the light gun games I have for it (Hogan's Alley and the legendary Duck Hunt). Plus the cartridge slot on the original NES is highly unintuitive and prone to issues even though I understand why it was made that way originally. A top loader is much more useful in my opinion.
Anyways I think the system is great for it's purpose, I think quality wise you're getting what you pay for with one of them, as long as you treat the system and the controllers well it'll last. If you're a roided out idiot with anger problems then probably not the best purchase option!
