Shining Force brought a new flavor of TRPG to the Genesis. How does it hold up?

Developed by Climax Entertainment and Sonic! Software Planning (now Camelot), Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention is a 1992 tactical RPG for Sega Genesis (Mega Drive). It has seen numerous re-releases over the years, often as part of Genesis compilations.
